Bo Bunny papers birthday card

Oops forgot to add the picture on Sunday!

Here's a small card I made with the lovely Bo Bunny monochrome papers and dotty cardstock. I love the blood red against the b/w background.

Oh dear - it's addictive!

My daughter has been down for a nap for about and hour and a half and I have just realised I have spent the whole time following blogs and not doing any actual crafting - It's soooo addictive. Back to the paper and scissors I think, lol!

Tres jolie!

This is my favourite layout to date. The photo was taken September last year during a holiday in the Lakes and is one of my favourite pictures of Emma - she just looks soooooo pretty. As usual I had bought the papers on impulse with no real idea what I was going to do with them and this picture was perfect. I enjoyed a full sunday evening cutting and sticking. The pearly cream buttons were perfect to create a 3D heart frame around the photo and are really in keeping with the slightly French, almost vintage feel of the papers.

close up of the decoupage detail surrounding the photo and the lovely glittered detail on the paper.

OMG who cut that hair?!

Just posting the page I did at Lynne's Craft Den this week, using the lovely K & Co Mira papers. It's the first page I have done of me as a child and I'm feeding my current ribbon and adhesive gemstones addiction as well! I have decided I need to reach into the archives and scrap me and my family in years gone by, and also me and Dan or my entire album will be of Emma! She is the main reason I started scrapbooking, but the addiction has taken hold and I think of every photo as a scrapbook page opportunity now. Will have to improve on the photo technique...photo's of Emma pages to follow I am sure!

Emma and I spent a lovely morning today with my friend Paul and his children Thomas and Grace. Grace just turned 2 this week and she is adorable. I realised today that they eat their own bodyweight in food every day, while Emma is the fussiest eater on the planet!

I also found out today that although most of my house has laminate or original floorboards and only tiny bit of carpet, on her first day of serious potty training, Emma managed to drench the settee twice and the carpet once and missed all the lovely wipeable floors!

Eeeek first posting!

I thought it was about time I caught up with technology and entered the world of blogging! I scrap every week at Lynne's Craftden in Sheffield and would go every day if I could, unfortunately I have to work to feed my crafting stash habit! Here is a card I made with the lovely Woodware Indian themed clear stamps and gold embossing on Basic Grey Boxer paper.
