More copics fun!

I finally took a photo of the copics cards I made earlier this week, hope you like them. The hair is not great on the purple girl, I lost my E37 and only realised while I was 'colouring in', but it looks ok.

All the Gorjuss stamps, copics, retro flower punch, ribbon, stickles, nesties, bazzil swiss dots card and the Bo Bunny paper from Craft Den (I think it's Bo Bunny, Lynne might have to correct me). All other stuff from stash.

Enjoying my week off!!

I have forgotten to take a picture of my latest copics efforts while the light was nice. In the meantime I did take photos of the layouts I did Monday. Hope you like them.

The first is Emma (no surprise there) at a family party, showing all her various moods. The only mood missing is her crying, which I think she was about to in one of these photos! I had a realy lovely time with my Ranger paints, glamour dust, flowers and threw everything on the page. I did have some palpatations as I loaded the stash on! acrylic paints, glamour dust and the lovely My Minds Eye, Bloom and Grow brads from Craft Den. The rest from my stash I am resolved to start using!

This is my second attempt at scrapping the photos of me and Emma making buns. I didn't like my first page so I didn't blog it, but I'm much happier with this one. I'm busy doing layout #3 tonight after a day of painting the kitchen with Dan. We have been doing it up for about 2 years, most of the work was done by my Dad, so we really had to get our fingers out and get it finished. It feels so good! I am already planning the before and after layout!

A new obsession......

I am so far behind with my blogging, and my crafting, come to that. Busy, busy, busy at work, and at weekends at the moment.... BUT .....I am now on holiday for a week and have already made 3 cards and two scrapbook pages today!!
I have just printed some more photos of Emma (who else?!) at my cousin's wedding last weekend, I just need the inspiration now for some more pages. I have obviously influenced my mum, as she spent time during the wedding collecting the little gemstones off the reception tables for me to use on my layouts!! How sweet is that!

Anyway, here's my very first and second attempts at copics!!

The first was done during a Wednesday class at the Craft Den, and I gave it to my husband as a 'just because' card. Everything on the card is available from the Craft Den.

The second I made for my sister's birthday on Sunday. The papers are Basic Grey, and ribbon and flowers from stash. Gorjuss stamp, copics, Nesties, sentiment tablet and brad from Craft Den.
I really, really enjoyed making them will post the other 3 tomorrow!
Oh dear, a new obsession.....LOL.

Bling, bling..

Here is the page we did last week during the scrapbooking class at the Craft Den. It's lovely to see all the different layouts from the same materials and class idea. We used the Bo Bunny Love shack papers and I love the cut out detail that was possible from these papers. We also used some lovely organza and lace ribbon with dewdrop details, and Martha Stewart hearts border punch details all from the Craft Den. I added a few extra flowers from my stash to mine Sadly I have lost one of my lace ribbon danglies, it may turn up in my craft bag...

I also did a page using the new Basic Grey Wisteria paper range and a free dragonfly stamp on the front of the August Craft Stamper magazine. Both are from Craft Den. I luuurrrve these papers! I have about 4 lots of photos all lined up to scrap with them!

I stamped purple, lilac and white dragonflies onto glittered vellum using the free stamp, cut them out and used them as embellies and I am quite pleased with them. Paper, woodware paper flowers, stickles, white Stazon all from Craft Den. Bling and brads from stash.

I am really looking forward to swapping to Weds this week and doing some colouring in with copics!!! I may even be able to post some copics in a month or two when I have practiced, lol!

Belated pages!

I'm very behind on blogging this week. Here is the layout I did last week at Craft Den, using My Mind's Eye Bloom and Grow papers and the lovely decoupage flowers again. I think I might have put too much on the page, sometimes I get carried away!

The second layout is using some lovely, lovely new Chatterbox flocked and foiled papers from the Craft Den (also there are some lovely embossed albums to match, in the peacock, chocolate and black). As soon as I saw them I knew the photo I had to use, from a posh wedding years back, where everyone wore black tie and I borrowed a gorgeous metallic effect green and blue fabric evening dress from my Auntie, and Dan wore a kilt. The lovely metal and gem brads are also from Craft Den, flowers and gem swirls from stash. I had palpatations as I used all six brads on the same page, lol! But I told myself, I can't just but things and look at them in the packet for ever!

I also did a page of photos from mine and Emma's bun baking session last week, using the Bo Bunny posh posies range. I'm not quite sure about this page, not my best. I might scrap these photos again at some point! Maybe will post it tomorrow, I have just painted some chipboard letters to go on it.

Happy Birthday Caroline

Today would have been my friend Caroline's 36th birthday. I have posted a photo of her , when we were having fun on holiday in Lanzarote 10 years ago. The picture is a bit wobbly from the days before digital.

Happy Birthday Caroline, I miss you. X.
