Funny Lil' Face

Had a great night at Craft Den last night, as usual. We used the lovely new Bo Bunny Gypsy range of papers (I had to buy some more... I had just printed a couple of great photos of me bathing Emma on holiday more that 2 years ago. She was going throught the stage of gurning at the camera whenever she saw it! I added some bling, and some sizzix cut flowers as decoration. The papers, ribbon, and delicious brads all the Craft Den. I need to take a better photo when it's light!

Latest layouts

Hi there, not been able to craft as much as I would like lately and just realised I never posted any of the layouts I did find time to do! Oops, I really do need to retire from work, it really does get in the way..

Last week we did a lovely layout at Craft Den using threaded ribbon and some gorjuss new Bo Bunny papers. We also did some stamping and embossed a huge swirled border and journaling tag. I printed a black and white photo of Emma when I got home and added the prima tiara! Princess Emma!

I managed another layout last week of Emma's first ever Christmas tree decorating. She was more interested in the bubble wrap than the baubles. I think the tree will be decorated more to Emma's style this year. These are really lovely Christmas papers from Bo Bunny 'Tis the Season' range. So much so I have found that I already had two more copies of each paper I used!! Whoops, I must really have liked them!! All from the Craft Den except ribbon and letters from stash.

I've pulled out the hidden journaling tags from behind the photos.

Beautiful Bo Bunny

Lynne at Craft Den has some lovely Bo Bunny papers just arrived. Last week I picked up 'Kitchen Spice, Cinnamon'. I thought this was perfect for autumn cards and made this card with an owl stamp from my stash. Branch stamp from an oriental stamp collection, Bo Bunny flowers, craft work card sentiments, blue and brown bazzill cardstock, and glossy accents all from Craft Den.

I just picked up the Bo Bunny Boo Crew range tonight, ready to scrap some photos of upcoming trick or treat with Emma, this coming Halloween!

Christmas is coming!

Lynne has the lovely new Blonde Moments 'All I want for Christmas' 12 x 12 papers, 6 x 6 matt stack and coordinating stamps in at the Craft Den. I love these papers, the colours are great and the images are so funky and happy. I had fun with my glossy accents. Here's some of the cards I made.

October ATC Swap

I'm early for a change and have done my ATC for October Craft Den swap. Halloween was the theme and I found some lovely images on DezinaWorld. I used crackle glaze on the pumpkin's hat and glossy accents on the eyes to make him look a bit more creepy. The stars are acetate, inked with stazon and gems I collected from the table at my cousin's wedding in July, LOL! Crafters are always seeing potential stash in everything, especially bling!!

Autumn card

Here is a card I did last night using copics, a lovely Gorjuss Sugar Nellie 'foxy' stamp and Bo Bunny Delilah and Swiss Dot Burnt Orange papers, all from Craft Den. Ribbon, flowers and mulberry paper from stash.
Copics: Coat and hat: RV42, R22, RV42; Trim and Flower: R46; Hair: E33, E37; Fox: E33, E37, R22; Tights: Y08, Y15, R22

Poppy and George

I decided I have not scrapbooked my really beloved cats very much. I started scrapbooking after Emma was born, so they have never really taken centre stage, but they were well and truly my babies before Emma came along and are still my babies now, so here are Poppy: 'Popstar', 'Princess' and George:'The Honsome', 'Big Man'.

They are only about 1 year old on this photo. George is now about 16-17 pounds, hence 'Big Man', which Emma now calls him sometimes, which is amusing. He loves his food, sleeping and his mum, I think in that order. Poppy is very, very small, and loves being outside and hunting (unfortunately), her mum and sleeping, in that order. When Emma was born, George really didn't seem to notice and got on my lap anyway, but we did not see Poppy in the same room as Emma for 2 years as she hated the 'screamy thing' as we came to call Emma to the cats! Both of them will let Emma stroke them now, and she is adamant that they are her cats, not mummy's!!!!

Scrapbooking night

Hi all, it was the, as usual, great fun scrapbooking night at Craft Den. I had a brilliant time as usual, even though my little one is poorly and Dan had to kick me out of the door. She told me today 'I'm very brave'. A tearjerker from a not yet 3 year old who has been really poorly since Monday....

This was the lovely layout we did tonight using the new Bo Bunny Delilah 'Stripe' papers. Many lovely new ranges of Bo Bunny and also the new Blonde Moments 'All I want for Christmas' papers have arrived at Craft Den this week.

I also just finished my 'September' page. If you recall I got a lovely set of journal tags with months on them. I have now done August and September in my quest to do a page per month to chart 2009 in Emma's life. (along with completing Jan to July 2009, the 8x 8 album of her first 3 months, the 7gypsy envelope book and all my other ongoing projects, lol! The trouble is I am distracted by each new project very easily!)

I love this photo. On the photo before this she was pretending to stangle Dan, lmao, she's just almost 3! Lovely sense of humour, lol!!

I also just did a quick card using my new Crafty individuals stamp, and the Bo Bunny St. Nick papers, inked with Ranger Adirondack earthtone 'cranberry' and Ranger Distressed ink 'scattered straw' as a background. All from Craft Den. Ribbon and flower from stash.
