Brum, brum..
Here is a layout I did last night of my first car Bertie. He was a lovely little red metro city and lasted only about 10 months, but I loved him!! He was my first taste of independence after university and getting my first job. No more buses and trains everywhere! Ignore the younger and thinner me being silly!! I will have to do another page of the other auto love of my life, Bob, a lovely white P reg Nissan Micra who followed after Bertie bit the dust! Since then I have had company cars and I have never felt the same about them, lol.

My first ATC!
Hi there. Craft Den are holding an ATC swap with the theme of Zodiac signs. I have never made an ATC before, and was a bit daunted, but I am hooked!! I have made another one as well and not sure if I want to swap, LOL! I know, that's the whole point of them! Anywhere, here is my effort which I will hand into Lynne tonight. There are a lot of lovely entries already, see Lynne's blog, so I can honestly say, I would love to get any of them!! I will have to buy a folder for them, it's an excuse to spend again!
I am actually Virgo but I couldn't find any suitable images or ideas for that, but I had this lovely fish image from a Graphic45 Botanicabella collection collage paper. The background is 7Gypsies and I used gilding flakes on the seaweed fronds and the fish fins (another first.. love it, I am going to gilt everything from now on, lol). I also added a nice shiny, glossy accents eye and some gold gel pen details. 7Gypsies papers, glossy accents and guilding flakes are available from Craft Den.
My second effort, not for the swap this time, a lovely butterfly scene. Background is again 7Gypsies with some butterfly images from my stash. I used an artifical leaf from Dunhelm Mill under the butterfly (thanks for the idea Chanelle!)

Emma Rocks!
Juat a quickie post of a layout I did last night. I used the new Colour My World templates from the Craft Den to create the shaped background. I love these!! They will appear more, lol!
Emma is dancing and enjoying herself at a recent nursery pal's birthday party. I used acrylic paint to make a frame of the page and the photos, and punched flower embellies from a piece of sheet music I bought recently in a second hand shop. The flowers and the Tim Hotlz grunge board letters were sprayed with an ink spray. Paper, grunge letters, ink spray, acrylic paints and retro punch from Craft Den. Gemstones, daisy punches and K & Co 'Sera' cardstock border from stash.

Woo Hoo... 100!!!
Been a long time, I know. I have been very busy at work, travelling, doing very little crafting and missing the Craft Den :-( Well I'm back for a while and had a great time on Thursday scrapbooking, and realised how much I had missed it (only missed 2!!). I was taking photos tonight of the layout we did on Thursday, two I did end of July and another one on Thursday night when I got home, and I realised that the Thursday class layout was my hundredth layout!! 101 followed Thursday night (I am always 'on one' after scrap class, lol) and am just working on 102. It averages 3 a month since I started scrapbooking May 2007 which is not too bad for someone who works full time, has a nearly 3 year old and manages to make cards and crosstitch as well! Just don't visit my house unannounced... I need time to tidy up and vacuum, lmao!
Layout 100!! A really lovely layout designed by Lynne. I learnt how to really 3D the flowers and was very excited. This will be a new thing for a while on all my pages, lol! I must re-visit some old fads again soon.. Bo Bunny papers, large flower 'Colour My World' template, Bazzill Swiss Dot cardstock, Martha Stewart frond punch, retro flower punch all from Craft Den. Adhesive gemstones, pearls and bling swirl from stash.
These two were layouts I dd at the end of July when I was on holiday from work and enjoyed some scrapbooking at home. I particularly like the 'Dancing Queen'. Emma really loves to dance, mostly when no one is looking and she picked up a really cute, dance like an Egyptian move at a party which the older girls were doing. She uses it all the time and she is so cute I could eat her....
The last layout is 101, which I did Thursday night after scrapbook class. Emma is the topic as usual, looking really lovely and thoughtful. I used K & Co Lotus papers and the great Colour My World, 'stamp' template. Also I used the new Tim Holtz ideaology tickets, which I think are lovely tucked onto a page. Everything, including the glossy accents are from Craft Den. Sequin waste from stash.
