I actually had some things on my desk this morning as I was too tired to tidy up for work last night. Not very interesting though as I am trying to get myself organised, rather than actually making anything.
In the middle are some sentiment stamps I have stmped onto white card, some of which I have already cut out with the smallest labels #? nestie (I always throw away the packages!. I got the idea off the Craft Storage blog as I never think to use any of the sentiment stamps I have and always use the same craftwork card tiles every time. The plan is that I will put the stamped sentiments onto mounts and collect them on a ring based on themes and write on the back which stamp set they come from and then I can actually start to use some of them. It's a project anyway and we virgos get a bit obsessed with organising things sometimes.
On the right is a stack of CD cases into which I have organised all my stamps which don't fit into my Tim Holtz stamp organiser, which is on the left. Again, organising, I can get obsessed. They are are being labelled and going into a small rattan drawer set so I can actually find them and use them. I warned you it was not that interesting this week....

PaperArtsy Goodness!
We had a fabby time on Weds night at Craft Den playing with the new Paper Artsy stamps and dies, and some lovely coloured metal foils. Everyone started with the same materials and we all came out with something quite different. I added a small watch face which I bought a few weeks ago.
I had a little play when I got home as well with the metal, scattered straw and peeled paint DIs, another PA stamp and a T!m swirl mask, all from Craft Den.

Altered boxes
I had some fun over the weekend altering boxes. Dan was away from Friday night and so I had a lovely evening of crafting planned on Friday, and I was expecting my sister Liz to come and spend Saturday night with me. Unfortunately Liz got stuck in Germany because of the volcano ash, so I had 2 nights of crafting, : -)..... no, really I would rather have seen Liz. She only got back Sunday lunchtime after travelling for 24 hours in taxis and the Zebrugge ferry to get home, bless her.
I found a lovely MDF pencil case at Craft Den, just begging to be altered! I painted it with a layer of gesso, then adirondack 'juniper' paint, before covering with strips of patterned paper. The distressed paper flowers I cut with my nesties, before scruching them up and attached a punched MS button. I also used other MS punches for the border and the butterflies. I can't remember what the papers are, but all the MS punches, paint etc are from Craft Den.
I also picked up a great wooden box at LB Crafts when I was passing last week on my way down the M1 (only a small detour, lol. I am a total sucker for craft shops. I really need to stop as we will have to move house soon to house all my stash! It's not as if I have much time to do anything with it all!) Anyway I also painted this box with gesso and ranger dabber paint, aqua this time. I used some lovely Prima papers I got a few weeks ago in Burnley (I think Lynne will also have some soon, so feel another spend coming on). I used Elusive images stamps and spellbinders craft foil both from Craft Den to add some details and a chipboard crown I have had for a while, embossed with a gold text.
I had a lovely night at Craft Den yesterday making a tag with the new Paper Artsy stamps and dies newly arrived. I could not help buying, lol. Will post later.

Sketch Saturday Challenge
Hi, I have finally completed my first challenge set by Sketch Saturday.
I have never done a challenge before and really enjoyed myself as it made me think a bit differently. Now I just have to work out how to link it to submit it...... lol
I have used a Happy Tilda Magnolia stamp, coloured with distress inks, and I think the papers are Prima,

WOYWW
Hello, I finally have managed to take some photos of my workspace today only because I didn't tidy up last night. My workspace is also my office as I work from home, so I have to tidy up every night to work again in the morning. I groaned this morning when I saw it, but then remembered I could join in with WOYWW for a change!
I was making a card to fit the Saturday Sketch challenge this week. I have never done any challenges before and always feel I am missing out when I see all the lovely creations so I decided to find some time to do one yesterday, which I need to post later. As you can see, I am a lady after Flutterby Ann's heart (see her WOYWW today, lol) and always end up crafting in a teeny tiny space as I have to have everything out to make one thing. I am always this messy when I craft and I do get stressed with myself! I have to own up, I actually did tidy up a little bit before the photo or you would just be able to see a pile if stuff on the desk! Oh dear.

Blogger is not playing ball!
I was going to post finally my layouts from last Saturday, the paper roses we did last night and some UTEE playing I have been doing, but blogger is not playing nice and the photos it is uploading are not the ones I am choosing! It is all very strange.
Anyway, a Happy Easter to all, hope you have a lovely break and lots of nice family time!
